happy wednesday all! well a lot has happened since my last post...the love of my life surprised me and proposed this past Friday at my studio for First Friday and well...to sum it up in a nutshell...WE ARE EXCITED! I will be posting a much longer post in the coming days but I wanted to share with you all what my sweetheart gave me...*sigh* I am so so so lucky to be with someone so wonderful!

hello all! I wanted to invite everyone out to First Friday tonight to see new works by myself and other artists that happen to live (or are visiting) in the triangle area. Hello all and Happy September to you! It's been a little bit since our last update but things have been going well. I've done several First Friday shows here in Raleigh and have met many, many wonderful people and received a great bit of feedback from my divas and my Creativ*Bee line of jewelry and scarves.

New jewelry has been dropped off at Revolver here in Raleigh so be sure to check them out, especially since they have fabulous bags and jeans. This October I will be showcasing my jewelry at my studio space in Knockabout along with a First Friday showing at Catch 22 on Glenwood South for my painted ladies and scarves on October 2nd so stop by and say hi.

Here is a preview of some of my newest series of drawings which are available as limited edition framed prints. I also welcome custom orders if you have something you would love to see in ink or oils. Just email me and be sure to stay tuned! A DC show is coming in November along with new designs! Details to come.

First Friday Studio Opening a Success!

So this past Friday I opened my studio space at Knockabout in downtown Raleigh near Moore Square and only one word can describe it...SUCCESS! So many people came out to support me, see my art and designs and meet the other artists that have studio spaces at Knockabout. There were a lot of positive comments and I got to meet a lot of really nice people. So many questions were asked about my ladies and overall they were very well received. I cannot wait for my First Friday show on July 3rd since there are several designs and paintings that will be making their debut that night.

Crafty Feast was a Success! First Friday Showing this Friday!

This past weekend I did Crafty Feast in Columbia, SC and it was a BIG success. There were so many talented artists and designers out and about and plenty of awesome people showed up to shop. I think this was one of the best shows I have ever taken part of. So many people loved my painted ladies and there were a lot of requests for t-shirt designs with these ladies on them. Well, look for that in the future.

As for this Friday, please stop by my new studio space in Knockabout in downtown Raleigh. YES! You heard it right! Creativ*Bee Designs and my artwork will officially have their own space! Along with my space are several other artists that will be exhibiting in their studio spaces as well so stop by and see them too! So many pretty things! This is such an exciting time for me right now and my head is spinning with all of the things I have to do before Friday but overall I am very excited! I hope to see everyone there! It's in the heart of downtown Raleigh.

So I've been busy working on some new paintings plus limited edition prints for my upcoming first friday show in Downtown Raleigh. Here is a small sample of some little designs that will be up for purchase.

As for this coming weekend I will be down in Columbia, SC with my Creativ*Bee Designs line of scaves, jewelry and paintings up for sale at Crafty Feast which is part of Ribs and Renaissance Festival. Hello all and happy spring - early summer - early Mother's Day! All I can say is I am so excited that spring is here to stay and the pollen season is almost done (aren't we all?)...anywho that being said. Out with the old and in with the new is our motto here at Creativ*Bee Designs and that is being said for our new designs.

We will have vintage sparkle earrings in candy-licious colors and very pretty pink, green and earth tone beaded long necklaces that go perfect with your tank top and jeans.

We will also be a featured artist at the Crafty Feast show in Columbia, SC on May 30th. SOO EXCITED! Also, we have a couple of new stores getting ready to carry the Creativ*Bee line but we will list those very soon too...I know we have to keep you at arm's length for now :-)

Purple Door and the Big Crafty

Happy early holidays all! Turkey (or tofurkey) Day is just around the corner and it's not too long before Christmas is upon us. That being said, Creativ*Bee Designs is excited about the upcoming festivities and a couple of shows. We just did an open house event at the Purple Door in Raleigh NC and loved loved loved the place! It was a great show and some really sweet people came out to see the artists being showcased.

We are also eagerly anticipating the upcoming December show in Asheville NC at the Big Crafty in downtown Asheville, North Carolina. This will definitely be a lovely event and you can't ask for a better location since it will be in NC's mountains. Keep checking back to see our new photos from these events as well as our new holiday designs. They are spectacular and festive and you will definitely want a Creativ*Bee original as a gift this season.
